FAQs

  • Cards are sold out everywhere I go, will they be restocked before the game?

    We recommend getting your cards as soon as possible following the end of our bingo broadcast.


    Our bingo booklets are printed in a limited quantity and restocking capacity is also limited. We are working to expand our selling locations and cards printed each week, thank you for your patience.

  • Where do we call for potential Bingo?

  • Do I get CTV2?

    Yes, if you have the basic cable package with either Eastlink, Rogers Satellite or Bell.  Look for CTV2E on your TV guide.  Bell (Bell Aliant) Halifax the Channel is 5 and for Bell HD it is 406 and for Eastlink, it is Channel 606.  The channel is 202 for rural areas of Nova Scotia.   • Who can play Heart & Stroke TV Bingo?

    Only Nova Scotia residents, 16 years of age and older are eligible to play Heart & Stroke TV Bingo. Employees of Heart & Stroke, Bell Media, production staff and other collaborators including the Caller and checkers working the Bingo Broadcast are prohibited from playing Heart & Stroke TV Bingo.   • When is Heart & Stroke TV Bingo?

    Heart & Stroke TV Bingo will air on CTV2 on Monday nights from 7 PM to 8 PM AST (except statutory holidays).  


    Our first show was on Monday, January 17, 2022.

  • Where can I buy my Bingo cards?

    Heart & Stroke TV Bingo cards are available at all Circle K locations across Nova Scotia as well as participating PharmaChoice stores.


    In HRM, cards are also available at the lottery booths in Mic Mac Mall and the Halifax Shopping Centre, as well as the Dartmouth Seniors Service Centre.

  • How much are Bingo cards?

    $10.00 for one envelope, which includes all our games: five (5) sheets of three (3) faces, for a total of five (5) bingo games per week.

  • How many games are played?

    Heart & Stroke TV Bingo plays five games every week for $11,000 to be won. Prizes are as follow: 

    • Game 1 (Blue card): 2 lines or 1 line & 4 corners  - $1,000
    • Game 2 (Orange card):  Any 2 corners stamps "Postage Stamps" - $1,000
    • Game 3 (Green card):  Letter X  - $1,000
    • Game 4 (Yellow card): Hardway 6 Pack - $1,000 
    • Game 5 (Pink card): Around the Free - $2,000; game continues to a Full Card -$5,000
  • When can I buy cards for the next Bingo?

    Bingo packages for the current week’s game will be available until 7 PM on the evening of the broadcast on CTV2, Monday(s). 


    Next week's bingo cards will be available following the bingo broadcast. It is up to each retailer to determine precisely when the sales begin.

  • How do winners collect their prize?

    Winners should email NSTVBingoWin@outlook.com and provide:

    • a photo of their bingo card
    • full name
    • mailing address

    After verification, prize money will be sent via cheque. Please call 1-844-844-0999 to make alternate arrangements if needed.

  • What if there is more than one winner?

    If there is more than one winner, the prize will be divided in equal shares amongst the winners. 

  • How long will lines stay open after Heart & Stroke TV Bingo finishes airing?

    A telephone operator will verify cards for 30 minutes after the completion of the telecast, until 8:30 PM AST.

  • I had a winning Bingo on Monday night. When will I hear back?

    We aim to notify our winners as soon as possible, but it may take up to 48 hours of the Bingo game concluding if there is an increased call volume. 


    Rest assured, if you called into our Bingo Winner Hotline (1-844-844-0999) and left a message during the game, you will be contacted.

  • What happen if there is a power outage in my community?

    Heart & Stroke and its partners are not responsible for any power outages, CTV2 airing difficulty or bingo equipment malfunction during the event. See Game Rules section for more details. 

  • Can I return/exchange unused bingo cards?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate requests for refunds or exchanges. As stated in our rules (found on our TV Bingo booklets and website Game Rules) we have a no exchange or a refund policy for unused cards. 


    The cards’ serial numbers are used for one night only and cannot be traded in for another night’s TV Bingo.


    Exception: If TV Bingo is canceled, unused cards remain valid and instructions on how to play them will be made available.
